Luciano Ligabue marks 30‑year anniversary of “Certe Notti” with Rome stadium show

On 12 June, Luciano Ligabue opened his “La notte di certe notti” stadium tour at Rome’s Stadio Olimpico, celebrating the 30th anniversary of his classic song “Certe Notti”. The concert drew around 54 000 fans and featured a two‑and‑a‑half‑hour set that spanned three decades of hits, including “Balliamo sul mondo”, “Il mio nome è mai più”, and newer tracks such as “Nessuno è di qualcuno”. Ligabue used the stage to comment on ongoing conflicts, citing Gaza, Ukraine, Sudan and “56 wars” in the world. The show was preceded by a free “Ligavillage” fan zone with exhibitions, tribute bands and merchandise.

The tour, now in its 30th date, has attracted roughly 452 000 spectators nationwide and will continue in Turin’s Allianz Stadium on 17 June, Milan’s San Siro on 20 June, and later across indoor venues before a planned 2027 conclusion. His son Lenny joined him on drums for the first time, underscoring the personal significance of the celebration.
