In an interview with Radio Radio, Moggi clarified that the meeting was casual, stating, “We talked about the match and all sorts of little things.” He noted that Gasperini does not require his advice and praised the current Roma squad, specifically highlighting the impact of Donyell Malen on the team’s performance and the play of Paulo Dybala.

Moggi also commented on the current state of Juventus, suggesting the club needs to be modernized and rebuilt on new foundations. He emphasized that the team must focus on strengthening its midfield and noted that the restructuring process could take two to three years.
