Luciano Zauri appointed as new Casarano head coach

Luciano Zauri has been appointed as the new head coach of Casarano. The former Campobasso manager succeeds Vito Di Bari, who was dismissed following a 5-2 defeat against Cavese.

Zauri, 48, brings extensive experience to the role, having made over 430 appearances in Serie A and Serie B for clubs including Lazio, Fiorentina, and Sampdoria. His coaching career includes stints with Pescara, Foggia, and Hamrun Spartans in Malta. He most recently led Campobasso to the Serie C playoffs.

He takes over a Casarano side currently struggling in the lower reaches of the standings, having earned only 11 points from ten matches.
