Lucid Group unveils 1,070-hp Gravity GT-S luxury electric SUV
Lucid Group has unveiled the Gravity GT-S, a high-performance variant of its luxury electric SUV, during Monterey Car Week. The model features a dual-motor powertrain producing 1,070 horsepower, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.1 seconds. Lucid describes the vehicle as America’s most powerful three-row SUV.
The GT-S includes the Dynamic Handling Package as standard, which incorporates independent rear-wheel steering and an adaptive three-chamber air suspension designed to improve stability and agility at high speeds. Visually, the model draws inspiration from the Lucid Air Sapphire, utilizing blue exterior accents, blue brake calipers, and blue interior stitching and seatbelts.
While the GT-S offers supercar-level performance, it maintains the utility of a family vehicle with seating for up to seven adults. The vehicle is expected to be available in the United States, with pricing starting around $125,900 to $127,750 depending on the source.
Separately, Lucid has announced a delay for its upcoming Cosmos SUV, which is now expected to launch in the second half of 2027. This delay is part of an operational reset aimed at improving cash flow and reducing capital expenditures.
