Lucid Motors unveils Gravity GT-S performance electric SUV

Lucid Motors has unveiled the Gravity GT-S, a high-performance variant of its luxury three-row electric SUV. Unveiled during Monterey Car Week in California, the vehicle features a three-motor powertrain producing 1,070 horsepower, which Lucid describes as “America’s most powerful three-row SUV.”

The Gravity GT-S is capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 3.1 seconds and can accommodate up to seven passengers. To enhance driving dynamics, the model includes a standard Dynamic Handling Package, which features independent rear-wheel steering and an adaptive three-chamber air suspension designed to adjust vehicle height for stability and aerodynamics.

While the GT-S offers significant power, it faces competition in the performance SUV segment from vehicles such as the Rivian R1S Quad-Motor and the Tesla Model X Plaid.
