Lucidity Festival to debut in Melbourne with Converge headline
The inaugural Lucidity Festival is scheduled to debut at the Melbourne Pavilion on 13 March 2027. Organized by Destroy All Lines, the event is limited to 2,000 attendees to maintain an intimate atmosphere.
Headlining the festival is the Massachusetts-based metalcore band Converge, who will perform their 2001 album ‘Jane Doe’ in its entirety to mark its 25th anniversary. This marks only the third time the band has performed the full album.
The lineup includes Belgian post-black metal group Oathbreaker, performing their album ‘Rheia’ for its 10th anniversary, and Belgian black metal trio Wiegedood. Other performing acts include Portrayal of Guilt, Extortion, The Broderick, Ends in Tragedy, Blind Girls, Isua, and Melting.
Beyond the musical performances, the festival will feature a pop-up record store called Homewrecker Records, live Q&A sessions hosted by the Oblivious Maximus podcast, market stalls, and food trucks.
