Former professional tennis player Lucie Šafářová has shared insights into her life following her retirement from the sport. She is currently focusing much of her energy on her family, including her husband Tomáš Plekanec and their two young children.

Šafářová expressed a desire to backpack through New Zealand, though she has postponed this dream to prioritize her children's schooling and stability. While her husband has transitioned into coaching, Šafářová remains involved in the tennis world through WTA mentoring and educational programs designed to introduce younger, talented players to the professional circuit.
