Lucien Laviscount joins Daisy Ridley in action-thriller ‘The Good Samaritan’

Lucien Laviscount has joined Daisy Ridley in the upcoming action-thriller ‘The Good Samaritan’. Directed by Pierre Morel and written by Matthew Ian Cirulnick, the film also features Josh Duhamel and Sharlto Copley. Production is scheduled to begin this fall.

The plot follows entrepreneur Dr. Rosalind Carver and her husband Matt after they rescue a wounded man off the coast of Indonesia. Their decision leads to a deadly conspiracy involving pirate abductions and a global trafficking empire. Rosalind eventually forms an alliance with an ex-mercenary, Sean Fuller, to save her husband.

Highland Film Group, managing international sales, has secured numerous distribution deals for the title across multiple regions, including Germany, the U.K., Spain, Italy, and various markets in the Middle East, India, and Latin America. CAA Media Finance and UTA Independent Film Group are representing U.S. domestic rights.
