Lucio Dalla: New anthology ‘Sono Lucio’ released

A new anthology titled ‘Sono Lucio’ has been released to celebrate the musical legacy of the influential Italian singer-songwriter Lucio Dalla. The project is a collaborative effort between the Fondazione Lucio Dalla, Pressing Line, and Sony Music Italy.

The collection serves as both a retrospective for long-time fans and an introduction for new listeners to Dalla’s work. The anthology features high-quality remastered tracks, including iconic songs such as ‘Caruso’, ‘L’anno che verrà’, and ‘Anna e Marco’.

To enhance the project's artistic value, the visual elements incorporate the photography of Luigi Ghirri. The album cover features an iconic photograph by Ghirri, and the title is rendered in Dalla’s own calligraphy. Stella Caracchi of the Fondazione Lucio Dalla noted that the release reinforces the commitment to preserving and promoting the artist's unique contribution to Italian culture.
