Lucio Dalla: New ‘Sono Lucio’ anthology released by Sony Music

Sony Music Italy has released ‘Sono Lucio’, a new anthology celebrating the work of the influential Italian singer-songwriter Lucio Dalla. The project is a collaborative effort between the Fondazione Lucio Dalla, Pressing Line, and Sony Music to preserve and promote Dalla’s musical legacy.

The anthology is designed as both a tribute for longtime fans and an introduction for new generations. It features tracks remastered at high resolution (192 kHz / 24 bit) from original analog tapes. The collection is available in several formats, including a digital version, a double CD, and two vinyl editions: a standard 180g black double LP and a limited-edition ‘Azzurro Mare’ numbered colored double LP.

Visual elements play a significant role in the release, featuring photography by Luigi Ghirri on the cover and throughout the project. The title of the collection is also rendered in Dalla’s own handwriting. The release includes iconic songs such as ‘Caruso’, ‘L’anno che verrà’, and ‘Anna e Marco’.
