ERAP Marche secures 60 million euros for public housing upgrades

ERAP Marche has secured over 60.7 million euros through the PNRR REPower measure to undergo the energy requalification of 108 public housing buildings. The investment, announced by the GSE, will impact 30 municipalities across the provinces of Ascoli Piceno and Macerata.

The program targets residential buildings primarily constructed in the 1980s and 1990s. Key objectives include improving energy efficiency by at least two levels, reducing primary energy consumption by at least 30%, and enhancing overall living quality through better thermal insulation, acoustic comfort, and improved air quality.

In addition to energy upgrades, the projects will focus on the safety and functionality of systems, the introduction of renewable energy sources, and the implementation of smart technologies for energy management. ERAP Marche President Tommaso Fagioli noted that the funding represents a significant opportunity to modernize the region's public housing stock.
