Lucki injured in ComplexCon brawl; LAPD investigating attempted murder

The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating a violent altercation outside the ComplexCon event on October 3 as an attempted murder. The incident occurred near the Los Angeles Convention Center when Chicago rapper Lucki was reportedly struck in the face by an unidentified individual while taking photos with fans.

Police reported that four people sustained injuries consistent with lacerations or stab wounds. Two victims were transported to a hospital, one sought independent medical treatment, and a fourth declined assistance. Lucki appeared in a social media video showing medical tape on his jaw and neck.

In recent comments, Lucki requested the return of his vehicle, claiming it contains $100,000 in cash and debit cards. While rapper Playboi Carti was observed near the scene, authorities have not identified any suspects or established any connection between Carti and the violence.

ComplexCon organizers stated the confrontation took place on a public street outside the venue and confirmed that both their security team and the LAPD responded to the scene.
