Luckin Coffee reports 28.5% Q2 2026 revenue rise as store network tops 36,000

Luckin Coffee announced that its net revenue for the second quarter of 2026 increased 28.5% year‑on‑year to RMB 15.86 billion (US$2.33 billion). The growth was driven by aggressive expansion, with the global store count surpassing 36,000 locations after adding 2,714 new outlets, mainly in mainland China and Hong Kong, plus a handful in Singapore, Malaysia and the United States.

Average monthly transacting customers reached a record 112.7 million, bringing cumulative transacting customers close to 500 million. Same‑store sales fell 5.3% compared with the prior year, but the added stores offset the slowdown. Operating expenses rose 29.6% to RMB 13.7 billion, representing 86.6% of revenue. CEO Dr Jinyi Guo highlighted the company’s “high‑quality, scaled growth strategy” and confidence in capturing further market share in China’s evolving coffee market. An earnings call on August 3, 2026 provided additional financial details and forward‑looking statements.
