Luckin Coffee selects Polish barista Agnieszka Rojewska as brand face

Polish barista Agnieszka Rojewska has become a prominent figure for Luckin Coffee, a major Chinese coffee chain that surpassed 35,000 locations globally as of late May 2026. Recognized as a ‘Master Barista,’ Rojewska’s image is featured extensively in the company’s digital marketing and physical advertisements across Chinese cities.

Rojewska, the first woman to win the World Barista Championship in 2018, also secured the World Coffee in Good Spirits Championship in 2022. Luckin Coffee utilizes her expertise to bolster its brand authority and emphasize coffee quality, aiming to distinguish itself from being perceived solely as a low-cost alternative to premium competitors like Starbucks.

Founded in 2017, Luckin Coffee focuses on a high-volume, mobile-app-driven business model with small pickup points. The company leverages Rojewska’s international credentials to build consumer trust in its large-scale, rapid-service operations.
