Shraddha Dubey denies murder in Shiva Sharma death case

Shraddha Dubey, a model and the primary suspect in the death of Lucknow businessman Shiva Sharma, has broken her silence by appearing before the media. Dubey denies murder allegations, claiming Sharma committed suicide by jumping from a fourth-floor balcony due to significant financial debt of approximately 16 to 17 lakh rupees. She has called for an impartial investigation and demanded the release of CCTV footage from her building to prove her innocence.

The case has triggered significant administrative shifts within the Lucknow Police. Following Dubey’s evasion of authorities, several high-ranking officials, including an inspector, a DCP, and an ACP, have been reassigned or transferred. Police have been tracking Dubey using multiple mobile numbers across India and Nepal, as she has reportedly been moving between locations to evade arrest.

Meanwhile, the victim’s mother, Ranjana Sharma, has appealed directly to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, requesting a high-level investigation by an agency such as the CBI. She has urged authorities to secure all digital evidence, including call records and WhatsApp chats, to prevent tampering.
