Lucknow hosts 13th National Pharmavision conference

The 13th National Conference of Pharmavision, the pharmacy wing of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), has concluded in Lucknow. Held at Dr Shakuntala Misra National Rehabilitation University, the two-day event hosted 779 pharmacy students from various Indian states and a delegation from Nepal.

During the inaugural session, Uttar Pradesh Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh and ABVP National Organising Secretary Ashish Chauhan addressed the attendees. Singh emphasized the importance of the pharmacy sector in providing affordable and accessible generic medicines, while Chauhan highlighted the role of students in establishing India as a global pharmaceutical hub by 2047.

The conference featured various academic and creative activities, including model and poster presentations, a youth parliament, and a Pharmathon, all designed to encourage research, entrepreneurship, and innovation within the healthcare sector.
