Lucknow: Man assists wife in marrying lover after refusal to return home

In Malihabad, Uttar Pradesh, a man identified as a Provincial Rakshak Dal (PRD) personnel reportedly assisted his wife in marrying her lover. The incident occurred after the woman refused multiple requests from both her marital and parental families to return to her husband.

The woman, who married the PRD personnel in May 2025, had recently left her in-laws' home. After the husband filed a missing person report, the woman arrived at the Malihabad police station accompanied by her lover. Following discussions between the involved families at the station, the couple reportedly married at a temple with the husband's consent.
