Indian police arrest suspects in logistics fraud, matrimonial scam, and murder case

Law enforcement agencies in India have dismantled several criminal operations involving fraud and violent crime. In Delhi, police arrested two individuals for operating a fake logistics scam. The suspects allegedly impersonated logistics company representatives to solicit advance payments for truck-booking services, a scheme linked to at least ten cyber complaints.

In Madhya Pradesh, authorities busted an interstate matrimonial cyber fraud racket that cheated victims of over Rs 11 crore across more than 100 cases. The gang used fake profiles on matrimonial websites and posed as family members or customs officials to extort money. Six individuals from Rajasthan and Bihar were arrested, with investigators noting suspected international links.

In Lucknow, a police encounter resulted in the arrest of Bhola Rajput, a suspect wanted for the murder of a woman. Rajput, who carried a reward of Rs 25,000, sustained a gunshot wound to the leg during the exchange of fire with the Krishna Nagar police.
