Lucknow woman climbs tower near CM residence over land dispute

In Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, a woman from Agra named Tulsa climbed a tower on Park Road in the Hazratganj area, located near the Chief Minister’s residence, to protest a land dispute. Tulsa alleged that a man named Man Singh had illegally occupied one and a half bighas of her land and had threatened her. She was safely evacuated following a joint operation by the local police and the Lucknow Fire Department.

In a separate incident in Nalanda, Bihar, a man identified as Surendra Manjhi was allegedly beaten to death following a dispute over a debt of Rs 1,000. His wife, Nauleja Devi, claimed that the couple was abducted from their home, tied to a tree, and subjected to electric shocks. She alleged that despite returning the money during the assault, the man was killed. Police reportedly recovered the body from a grave.
