Lucky Star partners with PhatBoi Running Club for South African wellness campaign

Lucky Star has teamed up with the PhatBoi Running Club to launch the "What Are You Running For?" movement, a purpose‑driven campaign aimed at encouraging South Africans to run for health, family, personal goals and community benefit. The partnership will see Lucky Star integrated into the club’s weekly runs, providing nutrition education, wellness activations and inspiring stories.

Founded by Major League DJz, PhatBoi Running Club founders Bandile Mbere and Banele Mbare describe the initiative as a way to expand a fast‑growing wellness community that connects movement with purpose. Marketing executive Anchen Lombard said the collaboration reflects Lucky Star’s long‑standing commitment to South African families and its desire to support healthier lifestyles through sport.
