CSKA ticket boost and player block clash with Levski fine in Bulgarian football

CSKA Sofia will receive additional tickets for the Bulgarian Cup final against Lokomotiv Plovdiv after talks between club officials, the Professional Football League and police. Blocks 9, 10 and part of 11 in sector A have been reassigned to CSKA supporters.

Ahead of the final, CSKA officials are seeking to prevent Lokomotiv from using youth international Georgi Chorbadzhiski, who is on loan. They cite the typical loan agreement clause that bars a player from facing the parent club.

In a separate league match, Levski Sofia drew 1‑1 with Ludogorets Razgrad, with goals from Juan Perea and Deroy Duarte. The Bulgarian Football Union subsequently fined Levski more than €2,500 for thrown objects, offensive chants and match‑time delays, and also imposed sanctions on CSKA 1948 for similar misconduct.
