Ludogorets President Aleksandar Aleksandrov joins EFC Board

Aleksandar Aleksandrov, the president of Ludogorets, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the European Football Clubs (EFC). His election took place during the organization's General Assembly held in Copenhagen.

This appointment marks the first time Bulgarian football has held representation at such a high level within the influential organization, which unites over 900 clubs. The EFC plays a critical role in shaping the future of European football through dialogue with UEFA, protecting club interests, and discussing key issues such as the distribution of financial resources.

Aleksandrov, who has led Ludogorets for over 16 years, joins other prominent figures on the board, including Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and Atletico Madrid CEO Miguel Angel Gil Marin. Following his election, Aleksandrov received personal congratulations from Al-Khelaifi and other board members.
