Ludogorets signs Croatian goalkeeper Ivo Grbić from Sheffield United

Bulgarian football club Ludogorets has announced the signing of Croatian goalkeeper Ivo Grbić from English side Sheffield United. The 30-year-old has successfully completed his medical examination and is already in Razgrad following the conclusion of transfer negotiations between the two clubs.

Grbić, who holds a bronze medal from the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar with the Croatian national team, has previously played for clubs including Atletico Madrid, Lille, Hajduk Split, and Lokomotiva Zagreb. He spent the most recent season on loan at the Turkish club Fatih Karagümrük, where he made 33 appearances.

Grbić has signed a three-year contract with the 14-time Bulgarian champions. He becomes the fourth new signing for Ludogorets this transfer window, joining Mihail Polendakov, Nathan Fernandes, and Hossam Abdelmagid. He is expected to begin training with his new teammates immediately.
