Ludogorets signs international players Hajdiahmethovic and Rekik

Bulgarian football club Ludogorets has completed the signings of two international players. The club secured Bosnian midfielder Amir Hajdiahmethovic, a 29-year-old who recently played for Hull City in England and previously represented Besiktas in Turkey.

Hajdiahmethovic, who participated in the 2026 World Cup for Bosnia and Herzegovina, passed his medical and fitness tests before finalizing terms with the 14-time champions. He joins the squad following successful stints at clubs including Konyaspor and Rizespor.

Additionally, Ludogorets finalized a transfer with Maribor for Tunisian international Omar Rekik, who holds a Dutch passport. Rekik is noted for his performance during the 2026 World Cup, including scoring against Sweden.
