Ludovico Einaudi performs solo piano concert in Montreal

Italian pianist and composer Ludovico Einaudi performed at the Maison symphonique de Montréal on September 27, 2026, as part of his ‘Solo Piano’ tour. The performance featured a nearly two-hour set played exclusively on the piano without intermission.

Einaudi’s repertoire included several of his well-known neoclassical compositions, such as ‘Nuvole Bianche’, ‘Una Mattina’, ‘Experience’, ‘Adieux’, ‘Luminous’, and ‘Memory One’. The artist noted that the solo format allowed for a sense of intimacy and a return to the musical nuances he seeks to express through his art.

While the performance showcased his signature style—inspired by nature, colors, and textures—some observations noted the minimalist nature of the evening, which included limited verbal interaction with the audience.
