Ludwig Beck completes delisting from the stock market
The Munich-based fashion company Ludwig Beck has completed its withdrawal from the stock market. The delisting became effective on August 21, following the cessation of trading on the Munich Stock Exchange on August 19.
This structural change follows a reorganization of ownership. Bayerische Gewerbebau AG assumed control of the company on June 17, increasing its holdings to 2,001,435 common shares, representing a 54.17 percent voting interest. This majority acquisition facilitated the subsequent application to revoke the company's stock exchange listing.
As a result of the delisting, Ludwig Beck will no longer be subject to the disclosure and reporting obligations required of companies on regulated markets. The move coincides with a challenging financial period; an interim report revealed a 1.9 percent decline in gross revenue to 37.1 million euros in the first half of the year, with declines noted in both the textile and non-textile segments.
