Ludwigshafen hosts art performance and urban walking tours

Helmut van der Buchholz has announced two cultural events scheduled for late September 2026 in Ludwigshafen, Germany.

On September 24, van der Buchholz will host his 198th atelier evening, titled ‘Loblied auf die Farbe Grau’ (Ode to the Color Grey), at the Wilhelm-Hack-Museum. The event aims to challenge the negative perception of the color grey through an expressive lecture, vinyl music, and performance art.

On September 28, the final public city tour of the season, ‘Germany’s Ugliest City Tours,’ will take place. Starting at 18:00 at Danziger Platz, the two-hour walking tour will guide participants through the city center to examine architectural failures, vacant buildings, and urban planning issues in Ludwigshafen.
