Ludwigshafen police respond to Halloween incidents

Police in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland reported several incidents during Halloween celebrations. In Ludwigshafen-Sud, a 63-year-old man was reported for repeatedly opening his apartment door while naked. When officers arrived to intervene, the man allegedly resisted arrest, leading to him being taken into custody in handcuffs. He sustained minor injuries during the encounter, and investigations are underway regarding exhibitionism and resistance to law enforcement.

In Mainz, the fire department responded to multiple small fires, including a bush fire likely caused by a firecracker, as well as burning trash cans and a clothing container. Authorities are investigating whether these fires were instances of arson.
