Ludwigshafen to host intercultural exchange events

Ludwigshafen will host several intercultural weeks from September 1 to October 31, 2026, featuring a variety of events aimed at promoting intercultural exchange and social cohesion. The program includes cooking classes, discussion evenings on topics such as migration and asylum policy, and international peace work.

Social Commissioner David Guthier emphasized that the city's diversity, with residents from over 140 nations, is a significant strength. The initiative is part of the nationwide Intercultural Week (IKW) held across Germany to foster mutual respect and combat racism and discrimination.
