Luglio Musicale Trapanese unveils autumn-winter season

The Luglio Musicale Trapanese has unveiled the autumn-winter portion of its 78th season, titled ‘Verbi d’Amore’. The upcoming program features two main cycles: ‘Cuore Contemporaneo’ and ‘Incanto d’Inverno’. The schedule includes four contemporary chamber operas at the Teatro Tonino Pardo, beginning with the premiere of ‘Magic Words Circus’ on September 26, and four concerts at the Sala Grande of the San Domenico Complex.

Following a successful summer season that saw high attendance and sold-out performances, Managing Director Filippo De Vincenzi noted that while the institution is performing well, the financial situation remains delicate. He emphasized the importance of public funding and encouraged support through the Art Bonus to maintain the organization's stability.

Looking toward future growth, the institution aims to expand the capacity of the Teatro Tonino Pardo from 350 to 500 seats by 2027 through the opening of a gallery. Local culture official Rosalia d’Alì reaffirmed the municipality's commitment to providing annual economic support to ensure the continuity of the programming.
