Lugo and A Coruña provincial councils fund municipal infrastructure improvements

The Diputación de Lugo has approved several agreements to enhance infrastructure and services in the municipalities of Alfoz do Castrodouro, Ribeira de Piquín, and Trabada. In Alfoz do Castrodouro, an investment of approximately 58,728 euros will be used for energy efficiency upgrades at the Casa de la Cultura and the conditioning of the A Pinguela parking area.

In Ribeira de Piquín, funds are directed toward improving water supply and establishing a community kitchen. In Trabada, the focus is on reopening the Punto de Atención a la Infancia.

In the province of A Coruña, the Culleredo City Council has awarded a contract for 182,400 euros to renovate Vigovidín Street in the parish of Almeiras. This project, part of a larger 700,000 euro investment co-financed by the Diputación da Coruña, includes renewing pavement, repairing water and sanitation networks, and installing high-performance LED lighting. Other planned works in the area include improvements to Catas, Pedruco, and Arzobispo Xelmírez streets to enhance pedestrian safety and road surfaces.
