Luigi Busà appointed technical director of Carabinieri Sports Center

Olympic karate champion Luigi Busà has been named the new technical director for the Carabinieri Sports Center, overseeing both kumite and kata disciplines. The Tokyo 2020 gold medalist will transition from active competition to a leadership role focused on the preparation and development of new generations of athletes.

Busà recently participated in the “One Karate-All Ages” international seminar in Ferrara alongside Japanese athlete Kakeru Nishiyama. The event included technical training sessions for various skill levels, focusing on combat strategy, distance, and movement precision. During the seminar, Busà emphasized the importance of family support in the athletic journey of young practitioners.
