Luigi Di Maio to Marry Alessia D’Alessandro in Campania

Former Italian minister and ex‑M5S leader Luigi Di Maio announced that he will marry his partner Alessia D’Alessandro. The couple, who met in 2018 and rekindled their relationship in Berlin after Di Maio’s 2022 electoral defeat, have a two‑year‑old son, Gabriel. Di Maio said the ceremony will be a small, intimate wedding in Campania, reflecting both families’ Neapolitan roots.

In an interview with the weekly magazine Chi, Di Maio described the 2022 loss as a turning point that led him to focus on his private life, allowing him to propose to D’Alessandro and plan the upcoming nuptials.
