Luigi Fazzino clinches Trofeo Molinaro at 30th Luzzi‑Sambucina race

The 30th Luzzi‑Sambucina event, the ninth round of the Italian Mountain Speed Championship (Southern) and the Italian Twin‑Cylinder Championship, was held in Luzzi, Calabria. Organized by Tebe Racing, the race attracted a large crowd despite high temperatures.

Siracusan rider Luigi Fazzino won the 15th Trofeo Silvio Molinaro, repeating his 2024 victory. Driving an Osella PA30, he posted a combined time of 6'25.58, emphasizing careful tyre management as a key factor. He was joined on the podium by Samuele Cassibba of Ragusa and Achille Lombardi of Basilicata. Other notable finishers included Francesco Ferragina (first among Calabrians), Emanuele Schillace (fourth in the 1600‑cc class), and Antonio Castellano (fifth). The event also saw a debut of the Wolf GB08 Thunder, which suffered electrical issues throughout the weekend.
