To accommodate intense public and media interest, the court will provide an overflow courtroom. While the defense has sought broader access, including a live broadcast of the proceedings, the judge dismissed claims that the court intended to exclude the public. Mangione also faces a separate federal trial on stalking charges scheduled for January 2027.
