Luigi Morcaldi appointed secretary of FIMP Salerno

Luigi Morcaldi has been appointed as the new secretary of the Federazione Italiana Medici Pediatri (FIMP) in Salerno, succeeding Aurelio Occhinegro. Morcaldi, a pediatrician in the Eboli Health District, aims to address long-standing issues including the shortage of pediatricians, heavy bureaucratic burdens, and the need for continuous quality care.

During his three-year mandate, Morcaldi intends to focus on preventative medicine, health education, and combating medical misinformation. He also plans to strengthen the relationship between pediatricians, families, and local health authorities to ensure better assistance for children.
