Luigi Vinaccia wins Monte Sant'Angelo Slalom
Luigi Vinaccia won the 6th Monte Sant'Angelo City Slalom, an event part of the ACI Sport Italian championship. Driving an Osella PA 6/9 2000 Honda, Vinaccia secured the victory with a first-heat time of 2 minutes and 46.81 seconds. He was also awarded the 10th Memorial Giovanni Pepe.
Salvatore Venanzio finished in second place driving a Nova Proto NP03 2000 Honda with a time of 2 minutes and 47.71 seconds. Although Venanzio was the fastest in race three, he received a ten-second penalty for accidentally hitting a cone in a chicane. Despite this penalty, his second-place finish in Puglia secures him the 2026 ACI Sport Absolute Italian Slalom Championship title with one race to spare.
