Luino announces road resurfacing and traffic closures

The municipality of Luino has announced new road resurfacing works in the Voldomino area, specifically affecting Via Gorizia. Following a one-million-euro allocation for municipal road maintenance, the project will focus on the stretch between the ‘Martiri della Gera’ roundabout and the intersection with Via Montegrino.

To facilitate the permanent restoration of the road surface, traffic will be prohibited on this section from Monday, August 31, to Wednesday, September 16. The restrictions will be in effect daily between 8:00 and 18:00. During these hours, all vehicles are barred from the area, with the exception of those directly involved in the construction work. Local authorities have advised commuters to use alternative routes during this period.
