Luis Abinader claims administration solved more problems than opposition in 20 years

Dominican Republic President Luis Abinader met with over 400 members of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) in New Jersey to discuss his administration's progress. Abinader asserted that his government has resolved more problems in six years than the opposition has in the last two decades.

He urged party members to defend the administration's record using statistics and data rather than rhetoric. Key achievements cited include the expansion of the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD) across six provinces, the establishment of 64 Infotep technical training centers, and increasing the number of ITLA campuses from one to ten. Additionally, he noted that over 170,000 families have received state land titles, facilitating access to credit.

Regarding public safety, Abinader highlighted his efforts toward police reform, claiming a reduction in homicide rates from 27 per 100,000 inhabitants in 2012 to seven per 100,000 today. He also announced plans to modernize political campaigning within the party by integrating more technology into local sections.
