Luis Abinader meets with deaf students following AI training success
President Luis Abinader met with 53 students with hearing impairments who successfully completed an artificial intelligence training program. The initiative was a collaborative effort between the Dirección General de Desarrollo de la Comunidad (DGDC), QVITAE, and the Escuela Nacional para Sordos (ENAPSOR).

President Abinader expressed pride in their success and reaffirmed his commitment to expanding training and development opportunities for the nation's youth.
Separately, the President has been conducting an extensive infrastructure agenda in the southern regions of the Dominican Republic, including the inauguration of the Cabral–Polo highway and various educational and environmental projects in Barahona and Independencia. Additionally, the new Director General of the National Police, Major General Ernesto R. Rodríguez García, has ordered all mandatory officials to submit their asset declarations within 30 days to ensure institutional transparency.
