Luis Antonio García Asensio appointed Chief Commissioner in Linares

Luis Antonio García Asensio has officially taken office as the new Chief Commissioner of the National Police in Linares. The inauguration ceremony was presided over by Manuel Fernández, the Government Sub-delegate in Jaén.

The event was attended by several high-ranking officials, including the Superior Police Chief of Eastern Andalusia, Luis Jesús Esteban Lezáun; Provincial Chief Commissioner Layla Dris HachMohamed; and the Mayor of Linares, Auxi del Olmo Ruiz. During the ceremony, Fernández emphasized the importance of security as a fundamental pillar for citizen well-being and recognized the daily, often unseen, work performed by police officers in investigation and crime prevention.

García Asensio arrives in Linares from Girona, where he previously held roles related to provincial coordination.
