Luis Armando Díaz considers 2027 candidacy in Baja California Sur

Federal Deputy Luis Armando Díaz has indicated he may seek elective office in the 2027 elections in Baja California Sur. While he has not confirmed a specific role, he remains open to the possibility of running for a municipal presidency in Los Cabos or other positions, noting that such decisions depend on his party and the electorate.

Díaz, a former mayor of Los Cabos and current national political commissioner for the Labor Party (PT), stated that while he does not believe he will pursue the governorship, he maintains political ambitions. He expressed motivation regarding the continued development of Los Cabos.
