Luis Arráez bids farewell to Philadelphia Phillies

Venezuelan infielder Luis Arráez has expressed his gratitude to the Philadelphia Phillies fanbase following the conclusion of his time with the team. After joining the Phillies mid-season via a trade from the San Francisco Giants, Arráez is set to enter free agency as his one-year contract expires.

Arráez shared a message on social media thanking the fans for making him feel at home at Citizens Bank Park. He noted the difficulty of watching the postseason from the dugout due to a left ankle sprain sustained during a game against the Milwaukee Brewers in late September. The injury prevented him from participating in the Phillies' Wild Card series against the Atlanta Braves.

Arráez finished the season with a .310 batting average, the second-highest in the National League. His future professional destination remains unannounced.
