Luis Campos reveals unconventional scouting tactics at PSG

Paris Saint‑Germain sporting director Luis Campos told Portuguese broadcaster RTP that he frequently disguises himself—wearing dark clothing, hats and even a fake moustache—to attend matches unnoticed and observe potential signings without revealing his identity to players or agents.

Campos said he also evaluates prospects off the pitch, arranging meals, shopping trips or other activities to gauge their psychological profile and how they might fit into a dressing‑room. He cited a shopping outing with a player known for reckless spending as an example of this approach. The revelations come as PSG, under Campos’ recruitment strategy, recently secured a second consecutive Champions League title and is already planning for future successes.
