Luis Díaz is facing scrutiny at Bayern Munich following a slow start to the season, having recorded only one goal and zero assists in his first six matches. Despite the dip in offensive production compared to his previous season, club leadership has expressed continued confidence in the Colombian winger.

Coach Vincent Kompany defended Díaz, noting that while his finishing has been inconsistent, the player continues to generate movement and create attacking opportunities. Sporting Director Max Eberl suggested the player may be struggling with hesitation in decision-making during critical moments, such as choosing between shooting or controlling the ball.

Díaz himself acknowledged the slump, stating, “I am still looking for my best version and I will find it soon.” He attributed the current difficulty to the challenge of matching his previous high-scoring output and noted that the team as a whole has not yet reached the collective level seen last season.
