Luis Díaz mobilizes humanitarian aid for Colombia earthquake victims

Footballer Luis Díaz, playing for Bayern Munich, has launched a humanitarian initiative to support those affected by the recent earthquake in Colombia. Through his foundation, Díaz is coordinating the collection of non-perishable food, hygiene kits, and medical supplies. A collection and organization point has been established at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Barranquilla to facilitate donations.

Major corporations are joining the effort, including Latam Airlines, which has committed to using its fleet to transport supplies to disaster zones. Díaz has also reached out to various clubs, sponsors, and companies to expand the scope of the assistance.

This effort follows similar mobilization by Colombian national teammate Jhon Arias, who used personal resources to charter a plane carrying medical supplies and health professionals to Quibdó, one of the hardest-hit areas.
