Luis Domingo Rico publishes debut novel inspired by Spanish Civil War

Author Luis Domingo Rico has published his first novel, ‘Relatos de un suspiro: Para devolver leído’. The work is deeply connected to his roots in Alcalá del Júcar and focuses on the human stories of those who lived through the Spanish Civil War.

The project was over two decades in the making. Rico, an economics graduate, developed the narrative through years of notes and reflections, inspired largely by the memory of his grandfather, Pepe, a former teacher in Alcalá del Júcar.
