Luis Enrique extends PSG contract and receives Ballon d'Or nomination

Luis Enrique has secured a contract extension with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) through June 2030. Following his success in leading the club to two Champions League titles, his annual salary is set to increase by approximately 66 percent, rising from £10 million to £17 million. This raise places him among the top three highest-paid coaches in the world.

In addition to Enrique's contract, PSG has extended agreements with several players, including Willian Pacho, Fabian Ruiz, Joao Neves, Lucas Beraldo, and Senny Mayulu.

Enrique has also been officially nominated for the 2026 Ballon d'Or Best Coach award. He faces competition from other prominent managers, including Luis de la Fuente, Mikel Arteta, Unai Emery, and Vincent Kompany.
