Luis Enrique pushes PSG to explore transfer for Barcelona's Gavi

Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique is reportedly pushing the club to explore a transfer for FC Barcelona midfielder Gavi. The interest is driven by Enrique’s desire to strengthen his midfield with players capable of high intensity and technical skill, building on the professional relationship they established while working together with the Spanish national team.

While no formal offer has been made, reports suggest a potential valuation for the 22-year-old could range between €40 million and €45 million, possibly targeting the January 2027 transfer window. The move is considered highly speculative as Barcelona has shown no current intention of selling the player. Furthermore, Gavi is reportedly focused on establishing himself long-term at his home club.

Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has noted that Gavi requires time to return to peak form following serious injuries. The potential interest comes as Gavi has seen reduced playing time due to the emergence of other midfielders in the Barcelona squad.
