Luis Fernando Veríssimo exhibition opens in São Paulo

The exhibition ‘Traçando Veríssimo’ is currently on display at the Centro Cultural Fiesp in São Paulo, offering a look into the creative process of renowned Brazilian humorist Luis Fernando Veríssimo. The free exhibition celebrates what would have been the author's 90th birthday.

Curated by Isa Pessoa, the showcase features over 300 personal items, including handwritten notebooks, sketches, cartoons, and original book manuscripts. The collection aims to illustrate how the author's ideas evolved over a 50-year career, featuring iconic characters such as the ‘Cobras’ and the ‘Família Brasil’. Other items on display include personal photographs and memorabilia related to his interests, such as the Internacional football club.
